Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at our busy Healdsburg brewery. The Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring quality food preparation, managing inventory, leading a team of kitchen staff, and contributing to menu planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, fine dining, catering, and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen activities, ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met
- Manage inventory levels and control costs effectively
- Lead and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, specials, and promotions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Oversee food preparation processes to maintain consistency and quality
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns regarding food preparation or menu items
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing kitchen operations efficiently

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, fine dining practices, catering operations, and inventory control
- Excellent team management and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Proficient in menu planning and understanding of food management principles
- Knowledge of bartending practices is a plus
- Previous experience in restaurant management is preferred

Job Title: Server/Bartender

Job Overview

An all-star bartender is someone who can perform well under pressure while managing multiple jobs in the FOH. This position's duties will include, but not limited to, serving, bussing, food running, and seating.

We are looking for someone who looks to go above and beyond with the willingness to learn every day. Experience is a plus, but hustle is mandatory! Fogbelt is an upbeat positive environment and we expect the same dedication and passion from our employees. The ideal candidate will be able to provide a flexible schedule, passion for food and beer, and the ability to work in a team forward environment while being a self-starter.

About us: Fogbelt is a craft brewery and restaurant with original taproom in Santa Rosa and a beer garden in Healdsburg. It is our priority to serve the best pub food and beer in Sonoma County! We use fresh and local ingredients and change our menu seasonally. We have a small production brewery and work hard to keep a dynamic list of up to 15 different brews on tap.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a consistent standard of conduct, upholding excellent service and hospitality.

  • Take orders and educate guests about our story, menu and beers.

  • As the ambassador between FOH and BOH, communicate with them and educate yourself about new specials, beers and changes in the kitchen & taproom.

  • Deliver food hot or cold right away as food starts to deteriorate once it is made and should be delivered immediately after being placed in the window.

Qualifications:

  • Outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and remain calm in a bustling environment

  • Manage customers, tabs and payment in our POS system

  • A love for craft beer and a working knowledge of the industry

  • Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in alcohol/beverages

  • Comfortable pickup up a new POS system easily and correctly (Revel experience preferred)

  • Attention to detail, cleanliness, and ability to work independently

  • Math skills necessary to accurately perform calculations and process payment transactions

  • Excellent verbal communication and skills

  • Flexible schedule including working nights, weekends, most holidays

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Must be comfortable around dogs

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to reach, bend, stoop, lift 55 lbs to shoulder height, and manage transport of 165 lb kegs

  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods

  • Must be able to carry out plates and drinks to tables in a fast paced environment

Job Title: Line Cook

Job Overview

A talented, resourceful, and creative line cook needed for our fast paced, brew pub in Santa Rosa and beer garden in Healdsburg. We are looking for someone who looks to go above and beyond with the willingness to learn every day. This is a positive kitchen and we are only looking for people who will contribute to our upbeat environment. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be able to provide a flexible schedule, passion for food and beer, and the ability to work in a team forward environment while being a self-starter. The position is part-time with the possibility for growth in the future.

About us:

Our kitchen is constantly innovating and improving. It is our priority to serve the best pub food in Sonoma County! We use fresh ingredients, some of which come from our own garden and hop yard in Healdsburg, and change 75% of our menu multiple times a year.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Ability to work or learn both hot and cold stations.
Lift fifty pounds regularly
Keeping a cool head under pressure
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety procedures
Understanding of FIFO
Good communication with co-workers
Notify manager in advance for potential shortages
Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area/ kitchen
Use safe and hygienic food handling practices
Follow recipes well to cook/prepare menu items to the restaurant's standards
